Job purpose

 

The Business Development Manager role is to assist the company by acquiring new customers, and sell additional products and services to existing ones, and is one of the primary points of contact between the business and its customers.

The role is important to enable the business to engage the client base, drive the sales opportunities and create new business.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

·      Client Relationships

Build rapport with clients giving them confidence in the 3D brand. Advising on business opportunities and how to maximize business potential. Understand the needs of our clients and assisting them to achieve their goals by providing the best solution for their circumstances.

·      Product Knowledge

Develop a deep understanding of 3D-lipo equipment, services & consumables in order to be able to offer best practice and professional advice on their benefits & uses.

·      Client Base Development

Increasing the client base through identifying non-3D-lipo customers. Generate leads and cold call prospective customers, seeking out the appropriate contact in an organisation to develop sales opportunities.

·      Efficient Working

Organise your diary to make the most efficient use of your time, including ensuring face-to-face appointments are booked within close proximity, along with cold call opportunities.

·      Reporting

Ensure diary and meeting records are maintained & any reporting requirements and deadlines are met.

·      Targets

Ensuring targets are consistently met in terms of client calls, existing and new business appointments & sales of equipment, consumables & warranties.

 

Other Tasks:


·      Upselling to the existing customer database.

·      Developing quotes and proposals, negotiating by phone, email, and in person.

·      Maintain Salesforce CRM records.

·      Report and review all activity using the tools as directed and provided by the business

·      Developing and maintaining industry knowledge.

·      Information sharing between Sales Team and Line Managers.

·      Attending Industry Events.

·      Encouraging clients to attend Business Seminars.

·      Being aware of market trends and competitors

 

Requirements

 

A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Exceptional organization skills

Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner

Approach the working day with a desire to constantly progress professional endeavours.

Be a self-starter who’s able to work independently and create new tasks for completion.

Full UK driving license.
